West Virginia Vacation, Day 3

The internet went down here sometime yesterday, so we’re posting our favorite photo from day 3 (our second full day here) a little late. Unfortunately, we didn’t take the camera on the hike in the morning due to the heavy fog / light drizzle. I carried Sarah on my back for the 2-mile hike and … Read more

End of a Chapter

Yesterday, we went to Carlisle for a 3:00 p.m. hearing where Sarah’s adoption was finalized at the Cumberland County Courthouse. With Carlisle nearly three hours away, it was an all-day event! Yesterday’s finalization was the final step in the legal process. It not only marks the end of Sarah’s adoption process, it also marks the … Read more

First Fourth for the Four

Shortly after arriving in Clearfield two years ago, we wrote about our First Fourth with Ethan. Well, yesterday was our first Fourth as a family of four. Ethan Turns Three

Ethan is three years old today. We celebrated his birthday on Sunday with his babysitters and Sunday morning caregivers at our place. Ethan enjoyed spending time with everyone, and he certainly enjoyed all the attention!

Surviving Annual Conference 2010

Last weekend, the Central Pennsylvania Conference held its 222nd and final session. This coming Saturday will be the first Annual Conference of the new Susquehanna Conference (with a special session to be held later in September). Ethan was with … Read more

Going to Annual Conference 2010

This afternoon, we traveled to Messiah College where the Central Pennsylvania Conference is meeting for its 222nd and final annual conference! We will meet again next Saturday (6/12) to unite with the Pennsylvania churches from the Wyoming Conference (northeastern PA) to form the Susquehanna Conference. Exciting times. This is Sarah’s first time here. It’s amazing … Read more
