You are invited to experience our adventure to Korea with us through this blog!
We should be able to blog while we’re in Korea. If we get to stay at the SWS Guest House, we’re hoping to stay in one of the rooms that has a computer. If we’re limited to a room without a computer, we’ll probably take a laptop and hope that we can find a free Wi-Fi spot in the city. If the guest house is booked up (we should find out on Monday, just in time for our Tuesday departure), we will have to find a hotel, preferably one that offers free wireless internet access.
We’ll both try to regularly post reports, reflections, and possibly even some photos from our adventure. Actually, we’re both required to keep a journal of our cross-cultural experience, so the blog may be our primary place to journal.
Also, at some point after we return from Korea and get settled into our new way of life, we will post a new photo gallery from our trip to Korea.
So, we invite you to experience this adventure with us! And please leave comments on our posts, too. Ask questions about what we report/reflect on and/or photos we’ve posted. Share something that impacts you, intrigues you, or surprises you, or just to keep us company. Remember, we will be nearly 7,000 miles from home — we would love to hear from you!
Jan & I are thrilled for you both and we are praying that you have a smooth and safe trip. I will be sure to tell everyone at the Ash Wed. service that we are glad you are not there–then explain why. π
God bless.
Pastors Joleen & Randy,
We are all praying for your safe flight to and from Korea. We also pray that the transition for both of you and for Ethan will be smooth. Enjoy yourselves and enjoy your new son. We can’t wait to meet him.
God bless you both,
Patty
